Every Deliverable Comes With a Deadline. Every Deadline Comes With Teeth.
Named deliverable, named deadline, in writing, before you pay for the next stage.
Every stage of an Akoto engagement ends in something you can hold: a named deliverable, on a named date, in writing. That is how trust gets earned, at every stage.
The Risk Scan Refund
If the Risk Scan doesn't surface at least one compliance or organizational gap worth more than what you paid for it, you get a full refund.
What counts as a gap worth more than you paid
- A compliance exposure whose documented remediation cost, penalty range, or back-pay liability exceeds the scan fee.
- A misclassification, handbook, or policy gap a regulator or acquirer would flag in an audit or diligence review.
- An organizational gap, such as an unfilled leadership seat or an untrained manager layer, with a cost you can put a number against.
The guardrails, plainly stated
You do not have to accept the roadmap, start a retainer, or take an introduction to claim it. Tell us within 14 days of receiving the scorecard that nothing on it cleared the bar, and the scan fee is refunded in full. No retainer commitment is required to find out where you stand.
The “Fixed or Free” Retainer Guarantee
Your #1 flagged risk item gets resolved within 30 days of retainer start, or that month is free.
How “resolved” is defined
- Missing policy or handbook gap: drafted and formally adopted.
- Worker misclassification issue: classification corrected, with documentation on file.
- Benefits or payroll gap: provider engaged, remediation plan signed.
The guardrails, plainly stated
If a delay is on your end, the clock pauses. It never voids. If resolution genuinely depends on an outside party (a state filing, a payroll provider's timeline), the commitment shifts from “resolved” to “resolution plan submitted and in motion.” Still firm, scoped to what's actually in Akoto's control.
The Qualified Intro Guarantee (Capital Advisory)
Three warm, thesis-fit investor introductions within 60 days, or that period's retainer is refunded.
What “warm” means
A direct, personal introduction from Akoto to a named investor contact. Not a cold list. Not a mass email. Not a LinkedIn request.
What “thesis-fit” means
The investor's stated sector, stage, and check-size range match your raise, documented before the engagement starts.
What's not guaranteed
Investor response, a meeting, a term sheet, or closed capital. This guarantees activity, not an outcome, and Akoto is compensated for introduction activity, never as a percentage of capital raised.
The umbrella promise
Every engagement comes with a named deliverable and a named deadline, in writing, before you pay for the next stage. If we miss it, you don't.
Know where you stand within ten days.
One scan, one scorecard, and a guarantee that protects you if it doesn't deliver.
